Birdville High School Theatre Presents Neil Simon’s RUMORS, October 21-24

Birdville High School’s production of RUMORS is comprised of two separate casts.  Each cast will perform two nights.  Be sure and see both of them!  All tickets are General Admission.  $5 for students and $8 for adults.  NO RESERVED SEATING.  You may purchase tickets at school during lunches the week of October 18, at the door, or online using a major credit or debit card (there is a convenience fee for this service.)  Go to www.stagehawks.org for more information.

Shows are Thursday, October 21, Friday, October 22, and Saturday, October 23 at 7:30 PM.  Sunday has a matinee performance at 2:30 PM.

Rumors is a farcical play by Neil Simon.  At its start, several affluent couples gather in the posh suburban residence of a couple for a dinner party celebrating their host’s tenth anniversary. When they arrive, they discover there are no servants, the hostess is missing, and the host – the deputy mayor of New York City – has shot himself through the earlobe. Comic complications arise when, given everyone’s upper class status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening’s events from the local police and the media.
